CASABLANCA, Morocco – Nissan showcased exciting prototypes and production cars at this year's recent Casablanca Motor Show, giving customers a first-hand glimpse of its latest innovations. At the focal point of Nissan's stand was Nissan Intelligent Mobility, the company's approach to changing how cars are powered, driven and integrated into society.

Making its Moroccan debut at the show was the Nissan BladeGlider, a working prototype high performance electric vehicle with a revolutionary design that stole the attention at the show.

"The aim of Nissan Intelligent Mobility is to make driving safer, smarter and more enjoyable, as well as tackling some of the world's big challenges like climate change, traffic congestion and road fatalities," said Kalyana Sivagnanam, president of Nissan Middle East and regional vice president Marketing and Sales for Africa, the Middle East and India.  "The Nissan BladeGlider embodies these concepts wholly and is this at the forefront of combining zero-emissions with high-performance in a revolutionary sports car design. We had the pleasure to welcome visitors at our stand, where they could get familiar with the products and prototypes that are shaping the industry."

Also on special display was the 2018 GT-R NISMO. With 600 horsepower of fury combined with unmatched control, it builds on the advanced technology of the hand-assembled GT-R engine and adds high-capacity turbos developed from Nissan's GT3 racing program. The result is performance as stunning on the road as it is on the track.

"Ever since our partnership with Nissan, we have placed customers at the heart of all our commercial operations and strategized our approach in penetrating the market by focusing on the proximity of the distribution network and offering the latest models," said Abdellah El Mouadden, director general for Nissan Morocco.  "Casablanca Motor Show is a unique opportunity to present to our customers the best offers in terms of purchase and service for a superior customer experience."

In Morocco, Nissan showed the newly launched, all-new NISSAN QASHQAI as well as the all-new NISSAN MICRA. Nissan also launched the Nissan Safir Club to all of its clients, which was created to thank and reward customers for their loyalty and ensure high levels of trust with new customers. Joining the Safir Club allows customers to collect loyalty points after each visit to Nissan workshops where points can be then redeemed to vouchers, including further rewards when members recommend the Nissan brand.
