Amidst the celebrations of National Nissan Day this year, Fednissan Bethlehem added a healthy dose of philanthropy directed at the local Christianburg Home for the underprivileged. This dealer collected donations of clothing and food during the momentous day, and delivered this welcome relief to its needy recipients to their tangible appreciation.

The charity itself is home to some 120 needy people, ranging from just 6 months to 80 years old, who rely entirely on charitable donations from the public, churches, and businesses in the area. These people live six per one-bedroom one-living room unit, and lack all the basic amenities we take for granted every day – such as soap, toothpaste, and of course food. The charity organisation is only able to provide one meal a day.

“We delivered the donations collected during the National Nissan Day from our  generous Nissan customers. The recipients were clearly overjoyed by the donation, and it was a privilege for us to give something back to the community while further improving the good name of the Nissan brand in our town,” commented Willie Ries, Business Manager at Fednissan Bethlehem.
