Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre - De Wildt, South Africa
The Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Centre in South Africa was established in 1971, as a cheetah conservation project. The centre has continued to perform an important role in the preservation and protection of cheetahs and has bred over eight hundred cheetah cubs and relocated some two hundred and fifty wild cheetah over the past forty years. Various conservation projects have been initiated at the centre since its inception, including a successful african wild dog conservation program.
